The origins of orangeries trace back to 17th century Holland, though the concept may have even more ancient roots. There are documented instances of structures resembling orangeries in 14th-century France, and the Romans had erected elaborate greenhouse-like structures centuries earlier.
The term 'orangery' emerged in the 16th century. Initially, these orangeries (which referred to the collection of trees) were situated in the gardens room. However, with the advent of plant pots, they transitioned indoors.

This advanced technology is discreetly integrated into the roof system, ensuring that the impressive sightlines offered by your Ultrasky Roof remain unobstructed, all while optimizing the infusion of natural light.
The structural goal post is engineered to be lightweight, facilitating easy and swift installation. It can be inconspicuously nestled within brick piers or Roofwalla's super-insulated columns. This grants you the freedom to incorporate expansive bi-fold or sliding patio doors, as the structural goal post accommodates widths of up to 6.5 meters.
ULTRAFRAME SUPER-INSULATED COLUMNS
Elevate your design with the addition of super-insulated columns, imparting an air of opulence and sophistication. Our columns boast aluminum cladding, available in flat or fluted styles. Compact columns are ideally placed at the corners of the structure, while the larger ones excel in inline configurations.
The Roofwalla roof rests atop these columns, featuring insulation enhanced with expanded polystyrene and styropor carbon. This results in impressively low U-values, reaching as low as 0.16. Notably, the thermal performance of our columns surpasses that of a brick pier of comparable size by a factor of five.
INSULATED PELMET
Embellish your new space with a decorative cornice, not only concealing your guttering but also elevating the external sightlines for an enhanced aesthetic.
Our cornice is available in a choice of three flat tier configurations, boasting a modern appearance with sharp 90° angles. It can be seamlessly incorporated into projects of varying sizes, from large to standard to more compact builds. Additionally, we provide a curved cornice option that harmonizes effortlessly with all orangery styles.
